Wayne County Foods ( WCFDS ) was founded in 1883
in Marion, New York by the Knecht Family. Their
principal business was the manufacturing and distribution of apple cider
and vinegar from their Marion, New York cider mill, in Wayne County.
In 1898 the Brooklyn, N.Y. Bottling Plant was purchased to find new
markets for their food products. The company grew and expanded
it's product line into other food items.
In 1963 the company was purchased by Vincent and Katharine Nemeth and is
still run by the Nemeth family today.
We
have continued growing over the years adding new locations to better
serve our companies needs.
Our current offices and main bottling plant is located in Irvington, New
Jersey.
We
thank our many friends and customers over the years for their continued
support.
